Kristin M. Zimmerman, RA joined the Kauai Realty, Incorporated sales team in 2002. A licensed real estate salesperson since 1999 and resident of Kauai since 1986, Kristin “wouldn’t think of living anywhere else in the world”. In fact, Kristin has only left Hawaii three times in the last twenty-four years. Each time she returns from visiting friends or family in the mainland she vows to “never leave again”. Ms. Zimmerman brings years of real estate experience and her passion for the Garden Island to each and every real estate transaction she is involved with. Kristin remains actively involved in residential sales and continues to be a recognized expert in home and vacant land acquisition on the north shore of Kauai. Kristin credits her own personal property acquisition and home construction for providing her with much of her “working knowledge” of Kauai’s real estate industry. Her own purchase exposed her to the intimate details of the CPR process, contractor interviewing and hiring and dozens of other particulars. Along with running her business, Kristin has raised two children, her twenty-three year-old son, Cody, owns his own business (Kauai Auto Spa) and her 21 year-old daughter, Kayla, works at a local boutique Tropical Tantrum and part time at the Hanalei Gourmet. Ms. Zimmerman is perhaps most proud of her two dogs. Tatyanna and Chanel, who are definitely “definitely Pomeranians with attitudes,” Kristin enjoys spending her leisure time, which she does not have much of, at the beach with friends and family. Her mother remains a “big-part” of Kristin’s life and they spend as much time as they can together. Much of her off-time is spent maintaining her pride and joy, her home.
